What does my client need?
The free TwoKey app, version 1.1 or later. They scan your code once, in person, and message you as much as they like without paying anything.
The twelve characters on our two phones don’t match
Stop, and do not accept. They match only if nobody is in between. Cancel on both phones and pair again, together, watching each other’s screens.
Is my client told that I keep a record?
Yes, always: before you pair and in the conversation itself. Recording begins only after their phone confirms it has shown them. Their own copy still disappears, as it does in TwoKey.
Where is the record kept?
On your phone only, encrypted. It is never sent to us, and we cannot produce it. It leaves your phone only if you export it.
How do the plans work?
Starting conversations of your own is free for 14 days from your first pairing. After that it needs a Practice plan, billed every three months through your Apple account. Manage or cancel it in Settings › your name › Subscriptions. If a plan ends, nothing is deleted.
Has the protocol been reviewed?
Not yet. TwoKey+ uses standard, published encryption, but its protocol has not been independently security reviewed. The protocol specification and threat model is published.
