VoxelFall

A falling-block puzzle where the board has real depth.

iPhone iOS 18 or later Free, with a $4.99 unlock On the App Store

VoxelFall is a falling-block puzzle game with a third axis. The well isn’t flat — it has depth, and a row only clears when it’s full the whole way through. Blocks fall into a space you can spin around, so the back of the board is somewhere you actually play rather than somewhere you can’t see.

What you can do with it.

01Play four ways

Standard is stack-and-clear with no clock and no interference. Garbage pushes junk rows up from the floor, faster every level, leaving one gap to thread a block down. Sprint is a set number of clears, as fast as you can. Timed is as many points as you can score in three minutes.

02Handle forty-nine shapes

The classic seven, plus larger flat pieces and blocks that reach through the depth — cages, spirals, staircases and a few genuine monsters. Which ones you see depends on your skill level and board. Press and hold a shape in the block list to never see it again.

03Play with one thumb

The whole screen is the controller: drag along the bottom to move, tap it in thirds to turn the block on any of three axes, tap the middle to drop, swipe the top to spin the board.

04Make it yours

Board size, block style, board colour, grids, shadows, a ghost piece — or your own photo behind the whole game.

05Play anywhere

The game makes no network calls at all, so it works with no signal, on a plane, and in airplane mode.

06Start flat

It plays fine as a flat game on the starting board, so nobody has to learn 3D to start. Depth is something you turn up when you want it.

What it costs.

Free

Play on a 10×22 board, up to two layers deep, for nothing at all.

$4.99, once

Your data & privacy.

Questions.

Do I need to understand 3D to play?

No. The starting board is one layer deep and plays exactly like a flat block puzzle. Depth is something you turn up when you want it.

Does it need an internet connection?

No — not to play, and not for anything else. It never connects.

Is the unlock a subscription?

No. It’s a single purchase, once, and it stays unlocked.

Where can I get it?

On the App Store, for iPhone running iOS 18 or later. Download it, open it and press Play — there’s no account to create and nothing to sign in to.

VoxelFall has been on the App Store since 17 August 2026.
